VMEngine is listed on the Electronic Marketplace for Public Administration (MePA) to facilitate its purchase by public administration agencies.

The VMEngine service is designed to address the public sector’s needs regarding how to purchase cloud services. To comply with the pay-per-use model of AWS services and allow users to monitor their account usage, VMEngine will set up a monitoring system that will alert the user once 80% of the prepaid balance has been used.

Prepaid credit has no expiration date and can be accumulated; it can be purchased either in multiple packages of the same denomination or in different denominations.
Costs vary depending on the individual AWS services in use and their actual usage (pay-per-use); consequently, billing based on actual consumption does not always allow for the allocation of a constant recurring cost, although this can be continuously and closely monitored on the AWS platform.
